Occupying a steep hill on the northern side of the city, Riverview Park's location makes it a prime spot for star observation and cardio fitness programs. The Alleghney Observatory is built on top of the hill in the park, with its astronomers and students making use of the open night skies to explore the cosmos. Holding 287 acres of land, the park also holds a large swimming pool and a great space-themed playground for kids. This park attracts many residents from the north side, but sitting just a few miles away from downtown it's easily accessible to anyone in the city.
